The place in Oslo for horses and farm animals
Only 10 minutes from the city centre, we offer a variety of activities and experiences for families and children. From riding lessons and outdoor riding to petting animals and educational activities, there’s something for everyone. Our park is a perfect place to connect with nature and learn about animal care in a fun and interactive environment.
Petting Zoo and Pony Riding
Our petting zoo allows children to get up close and personal with a variety of friendly farm animals.
We have 10 different species that walk freely about.
Open 10 am – 5 pm Monday to Sunday. Closed on the 17th of May.
From the 1 of November-the 14 of February, open 10 am – 4 pm Mon-Sun
Entrance NOK 100 per person, from 16 years.
Entrance NOK 85 per person 12 months old to 15 years.
Free entrance for children under 1 year of age.
Pony riding for children NOK 60.
Ticket sales at the entrance.
Educational Activities
Join our educational activities to learn about animal care, farm life, and the importance of preserving nature.
Half day courses for children 6-12 years.
Birthday party with horse riding
Children’s birthday with pony rides is the perfect way to celebrate the big day! The children can pet and snuggle with the animals in the petting zoo, play on the tractor track and trampolines, and of course try their hand at horseback riding. All the children can try adapted riding according to their level, with a riding instructor as their guide. Our bright and pleasant birthday room is equipped for food service and can be decorated as you wish.
Horse and carriage - or sleigh rides in winter!
Explore the enchanting experience of horse and carriage rides Weather permitting, our lovely Norwegian Døla horse will take you on a leisurely tour of Ekebergparken.
Sundays 12-2pm, mid-August to end of June: Tickets at NOK 100 per adult person and NOK 85 for children up to 15 years can be purchased on-site.

Herding goats (ONLY IN SUMMER)
Join us for an unforgettable experience leading the herd of goats in the forest, just like a traditional shepherd. This group activity is perfect for families with children of all ages, school classes from 1st grade to high school seniors, and can be enjoyed by solo children aged 10 and above.
The activity fosters teamwork both one-on-one and within larger groups, creating a fun and educational experience. Bookings are available upon request, with a minimum of 3 participants and a maximum of 30.
Time slots are from 9 am to 10 am, priced at NOK 200 per person.
Birthday party at the farm
On a birthday in the petting zoo, the children can be among the animals in a pleasant environment. They can play on the tractor track and on the trampolines, and say hello to the ponies. Close contact with animals is both fun and exciting for children.There is plenty of space to play and explore both inside the stables and in the areas outside. A nice room furnished with chairs and tables for max 20 children is available for you to for eating food and cake of your own choice.
